Alchemical video mapping performance
When in the night, alive with reminiscences of the female silent cinema, lights are born in the pictorial darkness, and letters and moving words emerge, composed as sensitive and musical bodies, it is an alchemy that immerses the visitors-photographers in the art space l’Aiguillage.
Within the collective exhibition “What’s New?” (Comics, Mangas Comic’s and Webtoons), l’Aiguillage invites the three artists Isabel Bertelot (visual artist), Benoît Labourdette (filmmaker) and “Les Manoirs” (painter) to propose a performance of immersive video mapping in which visitors will be able to make their own images and share their photos.
- Benoît Labourdette->https://www.benoitlabourdette.com/?lang=en] brings to life in space his poems « Calligrammes », a sensitive and political poetic form of the present time. He also proposes a dreamlike musical creation.
- Isabel Bertelot->http://isabelbertelotpeintre.com/] projects her cinematographic universe inspired by Musidora and her latest digital creations, “Night & Glitch”.
- “Les Manoirs”->https://manoirserie.fr/] proposes an initiatory and chromatic journey, halfway between Art and Science, revealing through the mediumistic paintings of the “Manors”, their visible and invisible face between shadow and light, which interact with the spectators.
The video mapping device and the photographic and musical contribution, conceived by Benoît Labourdette, mixes craftsmanship and simplicity with the latest digital technologies, for a unique immersive experience.
