This store was located in one of the most secure places in Paris. The safety perimeter around Printemps Haussmann was lifted and the traffic was restored. The anti-terrorism section of the Paris prosecutor’s office was seized of the investigation as well as the criminal brigade. But only five devices were actually discovered. Police sources reported 25 souls. The claim stated that “several bombs” had been deposited “in the Printemps Hommes Haussmann” shop, on the “3rd floor in the toilet”. The police went to the shop around 10:30 - 11 am for a simple check and fell on the gear. The discovery of explosives in the heart of Paris is to be compared with another incident. “The elements of demand do not correspond to the usual demands of the Islamist groups”. “The anti-terrorist services think that it is rather a warning because everything was indicated to find the explosives”. The only clue currently available to investigators is the letter of claim sent by the group to AFP. “At the moment, investigations are continuing to determine who is behind the deposition of these explosives.” Even if the explosive devices, “dynamite sticks surrounded by a cord” found in the toilet of the department store, according to the Ministry of the Interior, could not explode as is.
